The Process

Application Process

  • Register for an account: Login/Register
  • Complete the application with all required documents.
    Review the Required Documents page for more information, but as a reminder, this is a non-competitive application. If you meet the eligibility and provide a complete application, you WILL receive financial support!
  • Submit a timely application.
    Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed at the beginning of each month. Submit by the end of the month for more timely processing.
  • Keep an eye on your inbox!
    All communication between us will be via e-mail. We may email you if we have questions about your application or if we need additional documents and you will have limited time to respond. It is your responsibility to reply and ensure that scholarship@mcsf.org and mcsf@scholarshipapps.org are on your safe sender list.

Timeline

The CTE application is available all year and applications are processed every month. The entire process may take 6-8 weeks:

  • Week 1: Complete and submit an application
  • Week 2-6: Application reviewed and processed
  • Week 7: Decision emailed to applicant
  • Week 8: Recipient completes Acceptance Package, and financial support payment prepared for sending to school

Notification

You’ll be notified of our decision by e-mail in the month following your submission.

Important: We may e-mail you if we have questions about your application and you’ll have limited time to respond. Be sure to check your e-mail daily.

ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE & PAYMENT OF FUNDS

If awarded, your next step is to log into your recipient portal at mcsf.scholarshipapps.org and complete your Award Acceptance. We can’t send the check to your school until these items are completed.
